PURPOSE: To validate data and to cache data structure at the time of the faults of a process or a processor in a system with plural processes or processors. CONSTITUTION: A data processing system 10 executes plural parallel processes accessing to a time division user record on a memory. At least one data structure is used for tracking the data structure of a process or the access to the user record. Corresponding to a fault generated at a first process in the parallel ones, a signal reporting the fault is sent to the residual processes. From an accessing situation to the data structure of the broken process, the perfectness of the user record is inferred and the record is validated. Concerning the data structure itself, whether the contents of the memory is reliable or not is inspected. In particular, the data structure supports the use of the memory as a cache.
