The package, particularly for the display of a product for sale, consists of a pocket housing the said item and comprising at least: a top part 1, preferably reinforced, having a profile 2 for hooking on a support; a bottom panel 14; preferably a rear panel 11 connecting the top part 1 with the bottom panel 14; and a front display panel 8, also connecting the top part 1 to the bottom panel 14 and having, with the upper part 1, a visible face which extends without discontinuity from its junction 16 with the bottom panel to the top end of the said top part 1 in order to receive printing or similar, representative of the said item, over its whole extent. <IMAGE>
