PURPOSE:To provide a waist seal which can exhibit a stopping function while eliminating a poor upward movement of a door glass. CONSTITUTION:A waist seal 18 is composed of a core member 19 fixed to a trim member 17, a seal lip 20 provided to the upper side of the core member 19, and a holding lip 21 at the lower side of the seal lip 20. Both lips are made in the form standing obliquely to a door glass 4 side, and the holding lip 21 is composed of a thick wall part 21c from the lower side to the top end, and a thin wall part 21b at the upper side, surrounding a hollow part 21c. At the root of the thick part 21a facing the hollow part 21c, a notch 23 to allow the rotation of the holding lip 21 is provided. At the thick wall part 21a at the top end of the holding lip 21, an inclined surface 24 inclining toward the door glass 4 is provided, and a regulating surface 25 to abut to the inclined surface 24 of the holding lip 21 is provided at the lower side of the root of the seal lip 20 opposing to the inclined surface 24. |
