PURPOSE:To obtain a thermal transfer sheet which shows excellent lease characteristics at the time of thermal transfer, has excellent coloring density, clearness, fastness (especially resistances to finger prints, plasticizers, etc.) with difficulties to emboss at a high density, and forms high-density recording images with transparency when a transparent base sheet is used. CONSTITUTION:The sheet is provided with a base sheet 2 and a dye accepting layer 3 at one surface of the base sheet 2. The dye accepting layer 3 contains, as a main component, a substance resulting from a reaction between at least one or more kinds of thermoplastic resins and at least, two or more kinds of compounds having a reaction functional group. |
