PURPOSE:To prevent the damage of electrodes and to manage the quality of a thermally sprayed film on a solid base to be the finest state to all times by providing the inside wall surface of a nozzle part for injecting a plasma jet with an attachable and detachable cover consisting of an arc resistant material. CONSTITUTION:This plasma thermal spraying device is formed out of electrode pair 20, 22 for generating the plasma 31, a power source connected thereto, a gas spraying section, a powder charging section 14A for charging raw material powder to the plasma jet 4 and a nozzle section 24. A working gs is blown to the plasma 31 in the gas blowing section to form the plasma jet 4. The molten raw material powder molten by plasma heat is ejected together with the plasma jet 4 from the nozzle section 24. The inside wall surface of the nozzle section 24 is provided with a cover consisting of the arc resistant material. This cover consists of a sleeve 30 which is attachably and detachably fitted to the nozzle part 24 and has an electrical conductivity. |
