PURPOSE:To improve the adaptability of positional relations and facilitate the operation, using an artificial blood vessel with three side branch vessels derived therefrom, wherein one of the side branch vessels is made larger in diameter than the other side branch vessels, the center of this vessel being disposed to be shifted from the straight line connecting the centers of the other two vessels having smaller diameters. CONSTITUTION:An aortic arch is a trunk part for feeding blood to a whole body, having a branch portion branched into general carotid arteries (two, i.e., right and left) leading to a head portion and a subclavian vein (two, i.e., right and left) leading to arm portions. In the artificial blood vessel matching to such an organism structure and for replacing a morbid part, its main portion is made to have an inner diameter 18mm-36mm, and side vessels (b, c) with a comparatively fine inner diameter among side vessels having an inner diameter 5mm-15mm are sutured so that their centers line on a line p-p' in the longitudinal direction of the artificial blood vessel. Also, the center of a side vessel a with the thickest inner diameter is sutured at a position deviated by xmm from the line expressed on p-p'. Further, the distance y between the lateral vessels b, c is made 8mm, and the distance z between the side vessels a and b is made 10mm. |
