Test system for a regenerator device

The test system (PJA) enables the simulation, in a single device, of different reference signals, affected by interference in a defined manner, by means of a phase modulator (DPM) and the measurement of the phase angles of the input signal (MSI) and the output signal (MSA) of the regenerator device (NFR) in relation to the phase angle of an internal reference signal (REFI) by two phase measuring devices (PHM1, PHM2) which are separated from one another. The phase modulator (DPM) is supplied by a control device (CTR) with different control functions. The test system provides the user with a multiplicity of different control functions to modify the internal reference signal in order to check the connected regenerator device in terms of the frequency precision of the digital signals and cancellation of signal interference (jitter, drift). <IMAGE>
