The thermoforming mould for producing mouldings from heated thermoplastic film has a top mould plate (10) and a die plate, which is adjacent to the top mould plate (10) and is provided with through-openings (16). Arranged in the through-openings (16) there is in each case a cooled, generally cup-shaped hold-down device (18), which is movable in the axial direction and the essentially closed end face of which faces the top mould plate (10) and the open end face of which faces a bottom mould part (14), in which forms (36) for the mouldings are provided. Provided in the wall (24, 26) of the hold-down device are connecting openings (38, 40, 64), which are in connection with a fluid line (54, 56, 76). To achieve excellent sealing of the fluid circuits, the connecting openings (38, 40, 64) are provided in the closed end face of the hold-down device (18). Fitted in the connecting openings (38, 40, 64) is one end of a connecting socket (42, 44, 66), the other end of which is arranged displaceably in a connecting channel (46, 47, 48; 68, 72), which is provided in the top mould plate (10) and is connected to a fluid line (54, 56, 76) provided in the top mould plate (10). The connecting opening (38, 40, 64), the connecting socket (42, 44, 66) and the connecting channel (46, 47, 48; 68, 72) are in line with one another in the direction of movement of the hold-down device (18). <IMAGE>
