PURPOSE:To improve the phase margin of a clock by applying switching and re-timing to a light emitting element in a light emitting element modulation circuit in an electrooptic conversion section by a synchronizing clock. CONSTITUTION:A synchronizing clock sent by using a synchronizing line 102n+1 is inputted to each voltage input terminal of a laser diode LD conversion circuit in electrooptic conversion sections E/O-1031-103n for the switching. Thus, the skew between data due to the variance of the characteristic of the electric element system generated just before a transmission electric signal is converted into an optical signal and the delay variance between signal are absorbed and the result is converted into an optical signal after re-timing. Since the skew between data caused in the reception information sent to the reception side and the delay variation in teh signal are limited by those caused due to the effect of the characteristic variance of the optical element system, the phase margin of the synchronizing clock is improved. |
