PURPOSE:To provide a combination headlamp which has a front lens of an excellent antishock property and an excellent heat resistance. CONSTITUTION:In this combination headlamp for the automobile, a lighting chamber is partitioned by engaging a synthetic resin front lens 11 to the front side opening of a container form lamp body 10, and at least headlamps 20 and 30 with double lamp reflector are housed in the lighting chamber. At the positions corresponding to the lamps 20 and 30 in the front lens 11, projections 12a and 13a with a bowl form section having almost a circular form in the front side observation, and having the sizes corresponding to the lamps 20 and 30, are formed respectively, and flare areas 12b and 13b are formed around the bowl form projections 12a and 13a, as well as the front surfaces of the bowl form projections 12a and 13a are formed in curved surfaces projecting forward. Consequently, the antishock strength of the front lens is increased by increasing the section secondary moment, and the heat resistance is improved by increasing the front surface area. |
