<p>PURPOSE:To prevent an opening from being deformed when a positioning pin is inserted into it and a lead frame from rising up in a shot welding operation. CONSTITUTION:A light emitting side lead frame 1 and a photodetective side lead frame 11 are provided, the frames 1 and 11 are possessed of pairs of cradles 2a, 2b and 12a, 12b respectively, and first openings 5a, 5b, 15a, and 15b are provided to the cradles 2a, 2b and 12a, 12b, wherein these openings are coincident with each other when the cradles 2a and 12b and the cradles 2b and 12a are made to overlap each other. Furthermore, a second round opening 10 is bored in the cradle 2a, and a third elliptical opening 20 is provided to the cradle 12b, wherein the openings 10 and 20 are so formed as to be correspondent to each other when the cradles 2a and 12b are made to overlap each other.</p> |
