PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of adsorptive phenomena, downsize a device, and improve image quality by forming, on the surface opposed to a recording medium reverse side of a reinforcing member, a rib protruding on the recording medium side which is formed with an area smaller than this surface. CONSTITUTION:An image recording medium has a basic structure in which rollers 2, 2 are arranged between a pair of struts 4, 4, a recording medium 3 is extended between the rollers, and a recording device 5 including a recording electrode and a toner supplying part is arranged to record an image. A reinforcing member 1 has a protruding rib formed into an image area sufficiently smaller than the recording medium 3 side of the reinforcing member 1, and since the contact area between the reinforcing member 1 flat part and the recording medium 3 reverse side is thus rather small, the frictional resistance by the traveling of the recording medium 3 is reduced, and the carrying torque can be reduced. Thus, the generation of a charge by frictional electrification is minimized, and the dirt by the adhesion of toner on the recording medium 3 is also reduced. |
