<p>PURPOSE: To guarantee positioning of a drive roller and an idle roller by proper ly positioning a cover assembly of a copying machine, etc. CONSTITUTION: The cover assembly and the two positioning springs required to properly position an idle roller and a drive roller 53, 54 which are part of a cover 51 in second time engagement of the idle roller and the drive roller after jam is released are included. The two springs in a wire shape are installed on the cover 51 and a cover support member, and they receive stress from a home position when the cover 51 is slid to a separated position for jam released. When the cover 51 is slid to return to the home position, these springs draw the cover 51 and the drive roller 54 to be engaged with the idle roller 53 so that they are properly positioned.</p> |
