PURPOSE:To obtain a plastic film bag having high durability and enhanced in productivity by constituting a reinforcing part for an opening peripheral edge part by the thick-walled part integrated with the main body of the plastic film. CONSTITUTION:A plastic film bag 10 is formed from a main body part 100 containing side parts 101 and a tubular bag main body composed of a plastic film. A bottom side part 102 is formed from the bag material main body having the main body part 100 formed thereto and the side parts 101 are formed by heat-sealing the bag material main body. An opening peripheral edge part 103 is formed from the thick-walled part 21 integrally formed to the main body part 100. The cut places 211, 212 mutually opposed to each other of the thick- walled part 21 are subjected to butt welding or sealed by a plastic sheath like jig 2 or superposed to be bundled by a proper clamp membefer to hold a desired opening part.
