PURPOSE:To provide a magnetic sorting machine, by which both efficiency enhancement of sorting work and improvement of general-purpose properties are realized. CONSTITUTION:When a mixture is moved on a feeder 6 and moved to the lower part of the sorting drum 15 of a magnetic sorting device 12, magnetic metallic parts in the mixture are attracted to the sorting drum 15. In the case, the rotating speed of the sorting drum 15 (216mmphi) is set at the large value of e.g. about 120rpm. Then centrifugal force in the external circumference of the sorting drum 15 is increased to about 0.88G. The magnetic metallic parts are erected in the nearly radial direction of the sorting drum 15 by the large centrifugal force. Therefor the intertwined magnetic metallic parts are decreased and the amount of nonmagnetic material (e.g. honing stone) carried out to a belt 17 side is decreased to 0-1 grain. |
