CELL TRANSFER MECHANISM AND CELL FUSION APPARATUS

PURPOSE:To obtain a cell transfer mechanism to separate and transfer a cell to be fused without using light trapping action and to carry out selective cell fusion by using the cell transfer mechanism. CONSTITUTION:This cell transfer mechanism for transferring cells one by one is provided with a separation mechanism to separate cells into single cell and guide the cell to a flow channel and a flowing mechanism to flow a liquid by a pressure difference of the liquid. This cell fusion apparatus having the above cell transfer mechanism has a controlling apparatus and an image inputting apparatus and performs preliminarily defined procedure according to the judgment formed by the controller based on the contour of a cell obtained by the analysis of the image data inputted through the image inputting apparatus.
