The invention relates to an artist's palette - specifically for oil paints - in which, because of interchangeable paint mixing surfaces, cleaning is superfluous and which can thus be reused over a long period. When a used surface is removed, the next, clean surface lying underneath it is exposed. By the use of two or more folding palettes connected by means of hinges, it is possible to ensure that these can be stored and transported without risk of contaminating the environment.
