PURPOSE:To provide an antispin control device for a vehicle by which the vehicle can be prevented from falling into a spin condition without giving a feeling of physical disorder to a driver, and the gain setting method therefor. CONSTITUTION:An antispin control device for a vehicle is provided with a steering quantity detecting means 1 for detecting the steering quantity of a steering wheel, a vehicle-speed detecting means 2 for detecting the speed of the vehicle, an actual state quantity detecting means 3 for detecting the actual state quantity being the state quantity of the turning motion of the vehicle, and a target state quantity calculating means 4 for calculating a target state quantity being the desirable state quantity of turning motion of the vehicle on the basis of the vehicle speed and the steering quantity of the steering wheel. The device is also provided with a feedback quantity calculating means 5 for calculating the feedback quantity being the correction quantity of the front-wheel steering angle on the basis of the deviation of the actual state quantity from the target state quantity so that spinning can be prevented by preventing the actual state quantity from being dispersed by the fluctuation in the cornering stiffness of the wheels of the vehicle, and a steering means 6 for steering the front wheels on the basis of the steering quantity of the steering wheel and the feedback quantity. |
