PURPOSE:To reduce a material loss by preparing SMC(sheet molding compound) with excellent productivity in a process of one stage. CONSTITUTION:While a long film l is sent continuously, an SMC material is supplied onto the film 1. While a long base material 2 is sent continuously, besides, it is superposed on the SMC material on the film 1 so that the SMC material be sandwiched between the film 1 and the base material 2. While this sandwich material 3 is sent continuously, next, it is passed through a maturing furnace 4 so that the SMC material be heated and matured. Then, this sandwich material 3 is cut in a prescribed size, while it is sent continuously. Since the SMC material is passed through the maturing furnace 4 and matured in the state of being sandwiched between the film 1 and the base material 2, it is unnecessary to provide a maturing process as another process and, besides, a process of renewing the base material 2 is also dispensed with. |
