This relates to a process for the forming of cork elements 6 with non-flat surfaces, such as shells, caps and the like; it provides for the deposition of cork granules with the addition of binders into the cavity of a mould 1 and therefore hot stamping of the mixture by means of a die 2 above the mould between which the mixture is located.
