ROTARY PRESSURE COMPENSATED MULTIPLE-DISK CLUTCH

A rotary pressure compensated multiple-disk clutch has a cylinder that encloses a pressure chamber and a pressure-actuated piston (1, 2) contained therein, for clutches (A, B) consisting of disk stacks (11). The piston (1) of one clutch (B) is coupled to the piston (2) of the other clutch (A) around the driving shaft (3) in such a way that a common pressure compensating chamber (4) is formed between the rear sides of both pistons (1, 2). This chamber is inwardly delimited by the driving shaft (3) and outwardly delimited by a ring-shaped element (5). The front or inner sides of the pistons (1, 2) are surrounded each by a pressure chamber (9A, 9B).
