<p>PURPOSE:To enhance SO2 absorption and desulfurization ratio and to reduce installation cost, two or more of specific shape barrier plates are arranged in a specific way in the absorbent solution circulating tank of CaO-absorbent wet type desulfurizer. CONSTITUTION:A container 70 represents an absorbing solution circulating tank 70 for a wet type desulfurization system using CaO as absorbent, and provided with stirrer 72 for absorbing tower. In the tank, 70, one or more of fan or disk shaped barrier plate 75, 76 having one or more holes are arranged in a specified direction toward the center from the side wall. As a result, little soluble compounds are effectively contacted with absorbent solution and an increase in pH rapidly recovers the ability to absorb SO2. Thus, the process eliminates the need of conventional tank capacity increase to compensate little solubility, resulting in reduced installation cost and effective use of cheap desulfurizing material.</p> |
