PURPOSE:To provide an optical information recording medium not causing the peeling of the magnetic film and having a long useful life. CONSTITUTION:In an optical information recording medium with a transparent substrate 8, an optical recording region 2 only for reproduction incapable of writing data formed on the substrate 8 and a magnetic recording region 3 capable of writing and reproducing data formed in the substrate 8, the magnetic recording region 3 is made of a magnetic member 11 with a magnetic film 10 and the magnetic member 11 is embedded in the substrate 8 in one body so that the surface of the member 11 does not protrude from the surface of the substrate 8.
