The invention relates to a device making it possible to load easily and to transport up to 4 or 5 cycles or all terrain bikes above the tarpaulin (18) of a lightweight trailer, of the camping sort, without the risk of damaging it, and whilst allowing it to be removed without modifying the stowage (11, 12, 13) of the cycles. It consists of 4 uprights each one (3) fixed close to each corner of the trailer and, by means of its shapes, or with the aid of a shim, making it possible to form in the top of each wall in question a gap (17) into which the edge (18) of the tarpaulin will be inserted. These uprights support 2 crossmembers (6, 7) on which are fixed brackets (8, 15, 19, 20) immobilising each of the 2 wheels (9, 10) of the cycle held laterally by an oblique prop (13) fixed at its base to the neighbouring channel (15) by a spindle (21) allowing it to be folded along its channel (15) when the device is stored. <IMAGE>
