VIDEO FEATURE PROCESSING METHOD

PURPOSE:To roughly view the size of a video in a shot through the use of feature quantity which can automatically be extracted from the video. CONSTITUTION:At first, respective pieces of frame RGB data of an objective video are color-converted and they are set to be the values of hue, chrominance and lightness. The histogram of hue is measured from the hue value, and the hue representative value of respective frames is decided from the hue historgram. Then, respective shots are classified with the change of an average value Af and a deviation Df in the shot as characteristic quantity Dall.
