The method for finding defects in textile fabric, in which one electro-optical indicated contact capping (8) is a constantly controlled fabric (5). In one part of the controlled strap (22), contact control cappings are located, and its light recipients are grouped and give grouped defect signals. These defect signals are analysed differently to recognize dotted and/or longitudinal faults. Furthermore, the analysis criteria are signal amplitudes, time and the simultaneity of signal appearance during each turn of the machine. Subject to the analysis results, the indicator (41), the controlling (34), calculating devices, and so on, operate respectively. |
