IRREVERSIBLE COUNTING MECHANISM, IN PARTICULAR FOR ELECTRIC METERS

The mechanism is designed for one-way transmission of the direction of revolution from the input to the output shafts and can be used in residential buildings and in industrial enterprises. It improves the precision of metering, regardless of the direction of the revolutions. The mechanism contains a gear (1) fitted on a shaft (A), wormscrew (2), axle (C), vehicle (6), freely revolving wheels (5 & 8), gears (3 & 10) fitted onto a horizontal shaft (B), studs (4 & 7) revolving around axle (D). The mechanism also includes idler gear (9), transmission gears (11, 12, 13 & 14), digit rollers (15, 17, 19, 21, 23 & 25) and transport gears (16, 18, 20, 22 & 24).
