摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain a sharp image of high density and to enhance heat resistance, light fastness and preservability by using a special phenylphenol glycidyl ether compound in the glycol component of a polyester resin for forming an image receiving layer. CONSTITUTION:A dye thermal transfer image receiving sheet is obtained by providing an image receiving layer containing a dye receiving resin as a main component on at least one surface of a sheet-like support. The dye receiving resin is an epoxy modified polyester resin composed of a polycondensation product of 100mol.pts. of a dicarboxylic acid component composted of at least one kind of an ester forming dicarboxylic acid compound and 100mol.pts. of a glycol component containing 5-100mol.% of phenylphenol glycidyl ether component composed of at least one member selected from o-phenylphenol glycidyl ether and the like.
