<p>The bale press is constructed with a pressing channel, which has in its upper wall a slot (2), through which the binding needle (3) passes upwards, so as to introduce the binding wire (4) into the hook (5) of the knotter and into the tightening wheel (6), in order to knot the two extremities (8 , 9) of the wire (11), which is passed around the pressed bale (10). The base (12) of the knotter is fixed to the upper wall of the bale press and carries a bearing surface (13). The binding needle (3) is pressed into this bearing surface by the elastic arc (14) and its linked pressure element (15) to control the movement of the needle. USE/ADVANTAGE - It prevents problems caused by oscillations of needle at top end of its movement.</p> |
