摘要	The invention relates to an apparatus for simulating intra-uterine sounds, including an audio-frequency amplifier (5) linked to a loudspeaker (6), intended to be placed in the infants' home environment, for the purposes of calming them, which apparatus is reliable, easy to use and of low cost. According to the invention, the apparatus also includes a low-frequency generator (1) the frequency of the output signal of which lies in the range from about 100 Hz to 1000 Hz, a stage for adjusting the duration and rate (rhythm) of wave trains (2), a changeover switch (3) having two inputs linked to outputs of the low-frequency generator and of the duration and rate adjusting stage, and a filtering stage (4) having an input linked to an output of the changeover switch and an output linked to an input of the amplifier. <IMAGE>
