An electronic device for monitoring the infusion pressure utilises sterile, inexpensive disposable pressure transmission SETs located in the vicinity of the patient, and it permits hygienically optimum, technically simple, reliable and economic monitoring of the infusion and, moreover, guarantees very high security against false alarms, especially due to special technical precautions on the disposable pressure transmission SETs.
