PURPOSE:To simplify the terminal process as well as to ensure a highly reliable selective connection by forming the selected heating resistor, the optical switching element and the wiring onto the same substrate and in the same means. CONSTITUTION:To drive heating resistor R11, light source selector switch 51 is turned on at time t1 to make emit optical switching element group S1's photo diode 31 and then to secure the low resistance for optical switching elements S11-S1m. Switch 41 is turned on at t2 to make resistor R11 conduct. As elements S21-Snm feature the high resistance with switches 42-4m turned off, resistors R12-Rnm are not driven. Switch 41 is turned off at t3 and switch 51 is turned off at t4 each, and thus elements S11-S1m feature the high resistance. Resistor R11 is lowered down to the peripheral temperature, and the next driving is possible after t4. In this constitution, the 2nd terminal can be connected directly to the driving power source, and thus the selector switch suffices with m-units and small capacity. As a result, the terminal process can be simplified with a miniature structure realized. |
