PURPOSE:To shorten the working time of plural slave devices for receiving, setting up and storing program data and file data stepwise and successively from a master crevice in a commodity sales data processor such as a POS system connecting plural slave devices such as file processors to one master device such as a storage processor. CONSTITUTION:This commodity sales data processor is provided with device specifying means 7, 10 for specifying a partial slave device 3 out of plural slave devices 31 to 3n as a slave device 3 for receiving, setting up and storing program data and file data stepwise and successively from the master device 2 and data copying means 10, 19, 21 for copying the program data and file data set up and stored by the specified slave device 31 to other slave devices 32 to 3n. |
