FLAT SOLID ELECTROLYTE FUEL CELL

PURPOSE:To enhance cell output at a high rate of fuel use by preventing gas leaks from between a cell main body and a manifold. CONSTITUTION:A solid electrolyte fuel cell comprising a manifold 22 forming supply and discharge lines of fuel gas and oxidizer gas and mounted on one side of a cell main body 21 comprising a plurality of solid electrolyte plates 11 each provided with electrodes 12, 13 on both sides and stacked one atop another via separators 14 is provided. A gasket 25 is provided between the cell main body 21 and the manifold 22 and an elastic member 29 for pressing the manifold 22 against the cell main body 21 is provided.
