<p>PURPOSE:To provide a composite function element exhibiting varistor characteristics, capacitor characteristics and magnetic characteristics while avoiding deterioration of electric characteristics due to delamination or diffusion at the time of sintering and contributing to reduction of cost and mounting space by decreasing the number of components. CONSTITUTION:When a composite function element 1 is produced by laminating semiconductor ceramics 2, 3 having varistor characteristics and a magnetic ceramic 4 having magnetic characteristics and sintering the laminate to form a sintered laminate 5, Bi is added to the semiconductor ceramics 2, 3 and the magnetic ceramic 4. A material principally comprising ZnO is employed for the semiconductor ceramic whereas a material principally comprising a Fe-Ni-Zn based material is employed for the magnetic ceramic.</p> |
