PURPOSE:To obtain an enzyme inhibitor exhibiting melanin formation-inhibiting activity and starch digestion-suppressing activity through enzyme inhibition, useful as cosmetics and additives for diet food and having high safety. CONSTITUTION:This is a syrup having tyrosinase- and alpha-amylase-inhibitor activity obtained by extracting fruits of a plant belonging to the Family Rosaceae, especially Chinese quince or quince with an alcohol. |
