Wheel cover for vehicles, with a wheel-covering element (insert part 1, 2, 3, 4) which is arranged on a lower end region of a wheel house (wheel well, wheel arch) which holds a vehicle wheel. The wheel-covering element is an insert part (1, 2, 3, 4) fastened detachably to the rear or front wheel-house regions. Provided on this wheel-house region are fastening elements for a further insert part which is to be connected, after the insert part (1, 2, 3, 4) has been detached, to the body of the vehicle or to an add-on part (front spoiler 5, sill attachment 6, rear skirt 7) fastened to the body (8) of the vehicle. <IMAGE>
