The invention relates to a real-image viewfinder having an objective-lens group, a condenser-lens group for transferring the object image from the object-lens group to the eyepiece-lens group, an image-erecting system and the eyepiece-lens group. The latter comprises a negative lens and a double-convex positive lens and meets the following conditions: (1) -0.5 < fE/fE1 < 0 (2) -1.5 < fE/rE1 < 1.0 (3) -0.03 < dE1-2/fE < 0.1 In these formulae, fE denotes the overall focal length of the eyepiece-lens group, fE1 denotes the focal length of the negative lens of the eyepiece-lens group, rE1 denotes the radius of curvature of the eye-side surface of the negative lens of the eyepiece-lens group, and dE1-2 denotes the distance between the negative lens and the double-convex positive lens of the eyepiece-lens group. <IMAGE>
