PURPOSE:A makeup remover, obtained by dispersing a solvent selected from low-boiling isoparaffins and low-boiling silicone oils in an aqueous phase containing a polyacrylic thickening agent, having good usability without giving irritancy to the skin or eyes and capable of exhibiting improved effect. CONSTITUTION:A makeup remover obtained by dispersing 2-20wt%, preferably 5-15wt% one or two or more low-boiling solvents selected from low-boiling isoparaffins, e.g. Isopar or Shellsol, and low-boiling silicone oils, e.g. chain dimethylpolysiloxane having a low polymerization degree, in an aqueous phase containing a polyacrylic thickening agent. The above-mentioned makeup cosmetic is capable of readily removing cosmetic having characteristic of attaching importance to hardly causing makeup disorder without irritating the skin or eyes. 0.03-2.5wt% alkaline agent for neutralizing and thickening the polyacrylic thickening agent is added. |
