PURPOSE:To improve the water-proofness and light resistance of water-soluble ink recording image by adding a derivative of poly(dialkanolamino modified alkylene glycol) having glycols as the linking group as shown by formula. CONSTITUTION:A derivative of poly(dialkanolamino modified alkylene glycol) having glycols as the linking group acts as an agent for imparting water resistance for water-soluble dye for its cationic properties. Furthermore, said derivative works favorably for the light resistance of dye. It also has an adequate molecular weight, so that its cationic properties can be freely changed by the third and fourth class combinations of said derivative, thereby the agglomeration of dyes such as silica may be properly designed. Furthermore, the derivative reveals its superb fixing effect on water-soluble dyes. For light resistance, color fading is restricted by the composite effect of absorption on silica and dye and reduction of the end group by aminoalcohols. |
