<p>PURPOSE:To provide a noncontact multicore connector in which electromagnetic interference is eliminated between adjacent coils. CONSTITUTION:Tubular cavities 11 are made from the end face at the insulating part 10 of a connecting body 1 and a solenoid coil 3 is wound around the cavity over a predetermined length at the position within the insulating part corresponding to the outside part of the cavity. A shield member 6 is provided while surrounding the solenoid coil 3 on the outside thereof within the thickness of the insulating part. The insulating part 20 of a body 2 to be connected is provided with a part 21 entering retractively into the cavity and a solenoid coil 5 is disposed within the thickness of the entering part such that the solenoid coil 5 will be concentric to the solenoid coil 3 upon connection. Current is fed to one of the solenoid coils arranged concentrically and a signal is communicated through mutual induction. Current flows through the shield member 6 in the direction for preventing the generation of flux thus effecting electromagnetic shielding.</p> |
