PURPOSE:To provide a vibration gyro having excellent strain detecting sensitivity per unit area of a piezoelectric element. CONSTITUTION:Piezoelectric elements 14a, 14b, 14c are formed at central parts of sides of a triangular prismlike vibrator 12. The elements 14a, 14b are for detecting strains, and the element 14c is for exciting. A driving signal is applied to the element 14c thereby to bend to vibrate the vibrator 12 in a direction perpendicular to the element 14c. The elements 14a, 14b are formed so as not to bridge a neutral axis A of bending of the vibrator. |
