PURPOSE:To obtain a fault monitoring device which performs the collection and processing of fault information by discriminating the faulty content of a device to be monitored, and notifying a command signal with respect to faulty status in accordance with the faulty content to the device to be monitored and a maintenance center. CONSTITUTION:When a fault occurs in the device to be monitored, the fault monitoring device 14a receives the fact, and sends it to a discrimination means 25a via a reception means 22a, and the means 25a discriminates the faulty content. A discriminated content is sent to a command generating means 26a, and a faulty content command signal is generated, and it is sent to the maintenance center and a command discrimination means 29a via a control circuit 24a and a transmission means 20a. The maintenance center confirms the faulty content of the device to be monitored, and the means 29a compares it with a test command signal stored in a command storage means 28a, and reads out the test command signal in accordance with the faulty content. When the test command signal in accordance with the faulty content exists, it is sent to the device to be monitored, and when a response command signal is returned from the device to be monitored, the device 14a receives it by a reception means 21a, and it is sent to the means 28a via the circuit 24a, then, the faulty content is recorded. Simultaneously, the maintenance center performs the maintenance of a faulty device to be monitored. |
