PURPOSE:To obtain a composite terminal equipment able to use a telephone function section for a person handicapped in speaking, or hard to speak tentatively due to a disease or the like, or at a location where the voice is hardly heard due to large noises around a talker. CONSTITUTION:A character recognition section 12 outputs a voice code corresponding to a character code from the character code of character data displayed by a character data display section 2. A voice synthesizer section 13 synthesizes a voice signal corresponding to the outputted voice code and the voice synthesized by the voice synthesizer section 13 is sent to an opposite party by a telephone function section 8 through the changeover to the side of a communications line 8c by a transmission voice changeover section 8d. |
