PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a copying device capable of easily aligning the position even if the size of an original is large by adopting a lamp for exposure mounted on copying optical system as a light source. SOLUTION: This device prevents the increase in the number of components by adopting an exposure lamp 12. An original detecting sensor 14 acts for detecting whether or not the original is placed on a contact glass. In an operating section, an original transmitting mode key is provided for letting an optical scanner unit 10 drive, by lighting an exposure lamp 12, besides the copying time. The device is constituted so as to enter in a mode for driving the optical scanner unit 10, by lighting of the exposure lamp 12, when this original transmitting mode key is once pressed down, and to release this mode when this original transmitting mode key is once more pressed down. |
