The invention relates to a hose coupling component with at least one insertion member (1) for insertion into the end of a hose (2) of flexible material, and a connection piece (3) for connection to another hose coupling component. According to the invention, the insertion member (1) is surrounded by a sheath (5) of flexible material, said sheath (5) being essentially cylindrical and coaxial to the insertion member (1). A pressure differential between the inside and the outside of the sheath presses the sheath against the insertion member (1), thus clamping the end of the hose (2) securely onto the insertion member (1). |
