Coulter, in particular for use in a device for introducing mixed manure into the soil below the surface of grassland, which coulter comprises at least three parts, namely a blade plate 1 and two cheeks 2, one on either side of the blade plate, which cheeks 2 together enclose the blade plate 1 in such a manner that the blade plate projects outwards in order to form the cutting edge 8. At least one of the cheeks 2 is provided with means 5 for fixing it to the device 6. The cheeks 2 and the blade plate 1 are connected to one another, for example by bolts, in such a manner that the blade plate can be displaced and fixed with respect to the cheeks, and the blade plate 1 always projects insufficiently far out of the cheeks. <IMAGE>
