The switchover and charging circuit, assembled on a printed circuit board (11), of the emergency light fixture is constructed together with the emergency current source (12), emergency lamp holder (14) and mains terminals (13) as a unit (10) that can be installed in a standard wall box (1). The associated light fixture cover (20) - in the external shape of a conventional appliance guard here - has a light exit opening (21) orientated towards the lamp holder (14) as well as, expediently, a second opening (22) which is orientated towards a display element (light-emitting diode 16). The unit (10) is secured via an insulating housing (6) on the mounting frame (3) of the wall box (1). Surface mounting of the unit (10) with box-like covering is likewise possible. Thanks to low production costs of the emergency light fixture, emergency light systems having numerous light fixtures in conjunction with a low outlay on installation can be built. <IMAGE> |
