CONSTITUTION:In a shield machine 20 with the shell 21 of the machine, a rotating disc 22 mounted at a front end in the shell, a propelling jack installed at a rear end in the shell, and a cutter being set up on the rotating disc and conducting excavation, the cutter is composed of a plurality of split bodies 11 radially divided from the shaft 221 of the rotating disc. Each split body is borne pivotally in a freely diameter expanding manner by support shafts 111 parallel with the shaft of the rotating disc.
