Integration of a bypass engine with a large-diameter nacelle

The present invention relates to the integration of a bypass jet engine (1) with a large-diameter nacelle (4) under an aeroplane wing (2). This jet engine (1) includes a power generator (5) driving a fan (9). The generator (5) and the nacelle (4) are fastened to a suspension pylon (3) independently of one another. A retaining casing (18) supported by a grid (11) with fixed vanes integral with the generator (5) is arranged floating in an annular housing (19) of the nacelle (4). This arrangement makes it possible to control the play at the peak of the moving vanes (10) of the fan (9) whatever the aerodynamic forces experienced by the nacelle (4). <IMAGE>
